Welcome to the Seminar for the Master's course Smart Materials and Systems

 The seminar will be held on Wednesdays from 16:00 to 18:00 in room FH 3. 

 The first event will be on the 29th of April. Here we will discuss 

- how to find and read scientific papers

- how to design a presentation

- how to cite sources

- presentation styles

 Later on we will have students’ presentations which are based on recent scientific publications. Topics for the presentations are chosen from the field of:

- Semiconductor materials

- Opto-electronics

- Material characterization

- Photovoltaics

- Microelectronics

The respective papers will be suggested by the course administrators.

 For passing the Seminar and getting the credit points you need to:

1. Give two seminar presentations (each 20 min plus 10 min discussion)

2. Attend at least 8 seminar events (an attendance sheets have to be signed)

These requirements can be fulfilled within one or two semesters, which means you can give your presentations during one semester or during two semesters.
