Schlüsselkomponenten für Technologien der Zukunft: Neues Projekt „NEPOMUQ“ gestartet
This week, SommerUni is taking place at the University of Wuppertal. SommerUni offers special courses in various STEM disciplines for pupils aged 16 to 18. Instead of attending regular school, they have the opportunity to participate in these courses for one week, which gives them a glimpse into university life. On June 13, in collaboration with Prof. Daniel Neumeier's group, we conducted a lab course on solar cells and hydrogen generation, where 19 enthusiastic and motivated students attended. During the course, the students gained valuable insights into our research activities focusing on solar cells and performed own tests using solar cells. This was facilitated by the beautiful weather at the time. They also learned about the key challenges associated with generating and storing energy from the sun.
Special thanks to Sarah Schultheis and Timo Maschwitz for their exceptional efforts in planning and conducting the course. Their dedication and expertise greatly contributed to the success of the program.
